Sky Media is the advertising sales arm ofof Sky Italia that operates on all company’s media platforms combining the world of linear and on-demand TV with the digital one. It was born in July 2004 as Sky Pubblicità and in September 2015, following the acquisition by SKY Plc, it became Sky Media.
Sky Media represents the advertising sales of the Sky-branded PAY TV channels and, among others, FNG Fox Networks Group, A+E, ViacomCBS, Eurosport, Gambero Rosso, LaEffe, Classica and FTA, TV8, Cielo, and Sky TG24, Sky branded web sites, National Geographic web site and 300 other sites.
The range of innovative commercial opportunities offered by Sky Media includes Fluid Content, a technology capable of conveying Sky and its partners’ video content over a unique network of over 300 websites of different categories. Thanks to Sky AdSmart proprietary addressable TV technology, a unique tool in Italy that enables investors to fully customize their pay TV campaigns, Sky Media effectively reaches its target and conveys specific messages to the desired audience. Addressable TV is also available on Sky FTA TV channels, thanks to the new Smart TVs supporting HbbTV technology.
Sky Media's latest innovation is “Reach the Content”, an advertising planning format providing in-depth contents through direct interaction with viewers using Sky Q's voice control.
Sky Media also developed important innovative and marketing skills in “ Out of Home" field.
